IHVN Management Visits NCDC

Our Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Patrick Dakum, Chief Operating Officer/Managing Director, Mr. Charles Mensah, and Executive Director Laboratory Services & International Research Center of Excellence, Prof. Alash’le Abimiku, paid a visit to the National Reference Laboratory in Gaduwa, Abuja. We partner with Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) in setting up and running a bio-repository, Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) laboratory and a multiplex laboratory in the National Reference Laboratory.

The multiplex laboratory, which we manage, with funding from Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). runs 36 sensitive and specific tests simultaneously to provide data on diseases like rubella, measles, malaria and cholera.
